Nate and Connor

On Saturday we watched Nate's best buddy Connor. Boy was my house a disaster. They had a great time. Connor taught Nate to jump off his swing set. Thanks Connor! They then decided to have a photo session with Nate's digital camera. They spent most of the time beating each other up. There dads would have been proud.

Going to the beach in January WHAT???

So it is the middle of January and 80 degrees out so we all decided to take a trip to San Diego. It was Emily's first trip to the beach. She had a great time. She mostly slept. ALRIGHT! Nathan was so excited to play in the water but like his mom and dad wasn't a big fan of the sand. Uncle Pat, Jen, Uncle Chris, Mimi and Logan also went. It was really nice to just hang out and relax. I can't wait to do it again.

First trip to Disneyland in 09'

We took our first trip of the year to Disneyland Sunday. It was a lot of fun. Nate was a big boy and took pictures with some characters. He was also a very big boy and went on the TOWER OF TERROR with his dad. When I told him that ride might be a little scary he told me "I am not afraid of anything mom." What 3 year old says that. Well he showed me. He loved the ride. Emily was pretty well behaved. She rode on the marry-go-round and monsters inc. Most of the time she slept. We met up with a good friend of ours Josh and his girlfriend. They were a lot of fun. He was the one who told me to let Nathan go on tower of terror and Soaring over California. Nathan really like that ride too. When the ride goes over Yosemite he said hey that is like Papa and Grandma's shirts. Such a smart guy. We are already planning our next trip. If anyone wants to come, lets go.

What a Year

What a year my family and I had. I think it is and will be one of the best years ever. Nathan turned 3. Our very first nephew, Logan or Lowes as we like to call him, was born and our daughter Emily was born. We moved into a big house with a backyard for Nathan to play. Uncle Pat and his girlfriend Jen moved to Temecula. My dad got married to his long time girlfriend. I think that about covers it. You can't get much better than that. Oh yeah I forgot one of the best highlights we got season passes to DISNEYLAND!!!!! Now I can go anytime I want.
